Tier 2 ICT extension

Hi Friends,

Could you help me in clarifying below query please,

I am on Tier 2 ICT (Established Staff, stamped on 31 Mar 2011). COS start date- 04-Apr-2011 and VISA start date - 24-Apr-2011.
Am I allowed to extend my visa beyond 5 years? I am in UK and have been Living in UK from Apr 2011.

Yes, you can extend indefinitely with your current employer.

Though my COS start date is 04 Apr 2011 (before 06 Apr 2011) my VISA start date is 24 Apr 2011 (after 06 Apr 2011). Would that cause any issue in extending my VISA?

Good point. What was your application date? If you applied outside UK, generally the payment date is considered as your application date. The application date determines which visa rules will apply.

Hi,

Applied on 28 Mar 2011 in India. Received text from UK VFS confirming the receipt of the application for processing 0n 31 Mar 2011.
And the visa type on Vignette says "TIER 2 (ICT) ESTABLISHED STAFF"
