Out of UK for 107 days in last 12 months

Post by mitulkumar » Tue Jan 26, 2016 3:33 pm

Hi
I am british citizen and my wife is on ILR since June 2014.
She went to India from 1st October 2015 to 17th Jan 2016.
Can she apply for naturalisation? Due to personal circumstances, she had to stay out of uk more than 90 days.

Thanks
Mitul

I would advise to wait than rushing and applying. It can take up to 2 years if application gets rejected, discretion can be considered but chances are they going to put in queue so it would be wise to wait and fall within the 90 days before applying.

please see the post of user 'ieroglif' who going through this ordeal.
