IGS to HSMP Conversion.

Hi there,

HAving completed my post graduate diploma, I am now about to apply for the Iternational Graduate Scheme. Under this scheme, I beleive, I can be self employed and run my own business. My question is that after one year of self employment, can I show the earnings towards an HSMP conversion.(Is there a problem if the business taken up is not in the exact field of the education)?

Also , heard recently that the HSMP scheme is being scrapped in favour of a new points system. Any info on that shall be well appriciated.
