going India in 1st week Nov, planning to apply for FLR(HSMP)

Post by rjps » Thu Oct 11, 2007 9:45 pm

Hi

I got hsmp letter and planning to apply for FLR(HSMP) to change my visa status from Workpermit to HSMP. Since I need to send my newborn daughter's passport for stamping as WP dependent, instead, I was planning to send all our passports together for HSMP visa stamping.

I have prepared all documents for FLR(HSMP) and ready to be sent. But now I was wondering what if I dont get our passports back before 1st week of Nov

Please suggest... would it be too risky to send passports for stamping now.

Many thanks in advance

cheers

Post by marrik » Fri Oct 12, 2007 6:21 pm

Hi all,

Here is my timeline:

Oct 6th: Sent courier to HO from Chennai thru DHL
Oct 8th: CC deducted
Oct 8th: Received acknowledgment with reference number
Oct 10th: HSMP approved and documents sent

Got to know the status today over phone. This was our second time around with the application. Preparing for EC next.

Thanks to everyone who have contributed to this discussion board. We have benefitted highly from it.

Hi,

I had applied for the HSMP Visa,

Recv Date: 17 Oct 07
Pay Dat: 17 Oct 07 via CC
Ref No: 23 Oct Over Phone
Courier Sent back to me: 24 Oct
Decision - Dont know waiting for the courier

Called the customer care no and went into the general queries dep they said that they have stopped giving information regarding the decision made over the phone and I will have to wait until I recv my courier which is been sent via Airmail. Can anyone please tell me is it really stopped is there any other way I can find it out, its frustrating for me to wait so long until the courier comes in as I dont know what is the decision made. Awaiting for the reply, will post in any case what happened about my result.

Many Thanks,
Alok :?:

I've been following the postings for a while - the cover letter formats and supporting evidences really helped the preparation process since I'm applying for HSMP independently.
My application was sent out on October 19 from the US, received on October 24, and approved on October 26! The process was fast & efficient, and I couldn't have done it without you guys!

Sincere thanks,

XFS

Yes, Approval letter is not a gurantee for visa. The Entry Clearence Officer at British Embassy can deny the visa. So present all the necessary documents and make a strong case.
Wish you best luck for your EC.

My time lines

Post by ItsEd » Thu Nov 29, 2007 5:19 pm

Today, I got my approval by airmail.
Thanks a ton for this forum.

Application sent by dhl to UK: 18 Nov 2007
Application reached home office: 20 Nov 2007
Credit card debited on: 21 Nov 2007
Got approval: 29 Nov 2007

Ppl, I was planning to arrange for courier. To my suprise, I didnt get any reference number by email. When I called them on Nov 26, they told me that the application has reached them and a decision is yet to be made.
But suprisingly, I got my approval on 29th. Thank god that the documents reached safely.

So ppl who are planning to arrange for courier must be cautious.
Fax them as soon as your application reaches.

thanks,
Ed

Yes. You can.
Attach both the bank statements.
Mention it clearly in the cover letter.
But you need to get ur salary slips attested.
Make sure that u are getting it from the old company.

Thanks ItsEd...

From Bank A by which way i have to show...
1.
Bank A - Jan2007 to July 2007
or
Bank A - Jan2007 to Till Date

2.Bank B - Aug 2007 to Till date

Anyway, i have to produce the statement in Point 2.
But in point 1, which one i have to produce.

And also, while calculating the income, we have to consider before tax/deduction or after tax/deduction.

Thanks

Post by waqasshahid » Fri Dec 07, 2007 10:03 am

Hi Senior members,

This might not be the right place for this post but I am a bit worried since I sent my documents on 8th november07 to HO and payment was decducted on 12 November 07. I called Ho and got my reference number since then I have not hear from then regarding anything.

Please guide what should i do? also is this a normal behavior of HO about the timeline or my case is under verfication.

Looking forward to your replies

HSMP Approval!

Post by divisionbell » Mon Dec 17, 2007 6:51 pm

Hi All,
I am really thankful to this extremely useful forum. I sent HSMP application on 3rd Dec by DHL. Payment was deducted from my CC on 5th Dec. I had indicated in my cover letter to notify me once my case is done so that I can arrange courier for documents return. However, I emailed them to check for reference number on 6th Dec. I got reply on 13th Dec to give me my reference number. It also stated that a decision was already made for my application and my documents had already been dispatched by Airmail on 11th Dec. I just received my documents today on 17th Dec with HSMP approval :D Terrific processing speed indeed!!!

Divisionbell
