I am currently living in the UK and have a valid Tier 1 (General) visa which is due to expire on 22nd February 2016. My initial leave under Tier -1 General was granted on 09th February 2011 and I was in UK on that date.

I would like to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain visa along with my wife (Mrs. XXXXX).

I have enclosed the following documents in support of my application:

1. SET (O) Form (Version 11/2015) for both of us.

2. Credit Card Details for visa fees (£ 3000) payment (also attach photo copy of my card, in case if you require)

3. Passport Photographs ( 2 copies each for both of us)

4. Original Passports
- Mr. XXXX (1 Passport)
- Mrs. XXXX (2 Passports)

5. Original Biometric Residence Permit Card
- Mr. XXXX (1 Original Card)
- Mrs. XXXX (1 Original Card)

6. Knowledge of language and life in the UK

(A) Life in the UK Test
- Mr. XXXXX (Pass Certificate- Original)
- Mrs. XXXXX (Pass Certificate - Original)



(B) English Test
- Mr. XXXXX (B1 Test Pass Certificate/details- Original)
- Mrs. XXXXX
a) Point Based calculator summary showing her degree awarded points for English
b) Original Degree Certificate

7. Immigration History Supporting documents- Main applicant
a) Summary sheet showing all UK absences
b) Employer’s letter to confirm Annual Holidays entitlement while went on holidays
c) Self-certified letter for overseas holiday trip when working as self employed

8. Points requirements – Tier 1 General

Note: Application for Initial grant of leave was made on 17th July 2010 so need to have 75 Points from Table -3:

A) Previous earnings assessment
- Total Gross Salary: £ 43749.99 (earned in UK)
- Period of Earnings: 01st Feb 2015 to 31st Jan 2016
- Employer: XXXXXX
- Points Claimed: 25
- Documents Provided:
a) Original Payslips – 12 payslips
b) Employer’s letter to confirm salary and payments- 1 Letter
c) Personal Bank Statements for last 12 Months- 12 Statements
d) Postage receipts to confirm the date of application for Initial grant of leave

B) Qualification assessment
- Qualification: XXXXXXXX
- Points Claimed: 35 Points as Masters degree
- Documents Provided:
Evidence is not required for current application because it was submitted for a previous Tier 1 (General) application. But I still attach following documents for your kind perusal:
a) Copy of my qualification certificate
b) UK NARIC letter confirming the level of my qualification


C) Age assessment
- Age: 31 Years at the time of application for first grant of leave
- Points Claimed: 10 Points
- Documents Provided:
a) Passport confirming my date of birth


D) UK Experience assessment
- Physically present in UK at the time of my earnings in UK
- Points Claimed: 5 Points
- Documents Provided:
a) As per point 8.A






9. Cohabitation proof
- Documents Provided:
a) Original Marriage Certificate
b) Cohabitation proof documents summary along with supporting documents

10. Photo copies of all above documents

We confirm whether we have spent a continuous period of five years together lawfully in the UK and wish to continue together in the UK.

I am not sure if I really have to include my last 5 years P60s/self assessment returns. My extension was on the basis of salaried income and this time also i am applying on the basis of salary income but in between I was self employed.
