Tier 2 Extension Work End date

Hi Gurus,

I have my Tier 2 General Employer sponsored 2 year visa expires soon (actually I have 1 year and 10 months as I have applied for the visa bit late), I have been asked by the HR to give the details to allocate the cos for next 3 years. Please give me some idea of what could be the work start date and work end date ?

say for example if my visa end on 11th March 2016, and my work start date in the COS will be 10th March 2016.

1) what could be the possible work end date for 3 year COS (to obtain the maximum leave to remain)


2) if the maximum date is 10th March 2019 - this is on Sunday ? would this be acceptable ?

3) I was given my initial entry clearance for RCOS work end date + one month, is it possible to get this time also additional one month ?

I appreciate if anyone could share their ideas.

Sunday doesnt matter
once u apply for visa with this cos, then ur leave is for the said period plus 2 weeks.

I have another issue when I checked my previous RCOS details, need your valuable help again....

When allocated the RCOS first time, my employer mentioned the salary as 40K, however I was paid 36K due to some circumstances and still am getting 36K.

Now for the COS, will it required to mentioned the salary when allocating? if can my employer mention as 36K ? or should still remain as 40K ?

I should thank this forum and active members for giving guidance.

the information was really helpful and saved huge money but disappointed as I got to know this forums very recently.

I got visa as mentioned by iworker work end in cos + 2 weeks.
