Good day to you, Could you please assist me.
1. I have been in UK since Sep 2010 under Tier 2 ICT Long term established staff.
2. My current visa expires on March 7th, 2016 and COS expires on Feb 25' 2016
3. My current company is willing to extend another year in tier 2 ict.
4. iam planning to convert to tier 2 Gen in Feb 9th (rmlt completes after 9th feb). But not yet decided.
my queries are below
1. For tier 2 General : As it is UCOs and incountry switch, will i get cos before feb 27th if i start application after feb 9th. Feb 9th is RMLT complete. Can i get visa before march 7 if i apply same day appointment. Once tier 2 Gvisa comes, i will resign current employer, and i will go offshore and serve 3 months from current company. i cannot work here as i dont have current company visa which is expiring on march 7th.
risk : 1: No contingency if cos delays.
if i dont get Tier 2 Gen cos before march 7th its a big risk. also current company may ask to leave the country before feb 27th (cos date)
advantage : comeback after 3 months notice period and join tier 2 g company in june 1st.
2. better extend tier 2 ict visa from current employer and get tier 2 ict visa by april or may (using postal application apply in march 2016).Later in May 1st, switch 2 general by getting hold of any sponsor do a RMLT. By may 10th you will get cos and visa from new employer.(same day appoitnment)
advantage : you will have enough time for any delay contingency for tier2 General as you have already tier 2 ict visa.
In May 10th, Regarding notice period i can negotiate that I do notice period in uk by giving just 1 month notice to current tier 2 ict employer.
Please suggest me which is the best option
