Successfully applied for Tier 2 Dependent Visa for my wife recently. Sharing my experience if that can help anyone going through the same process.

Although some of the above stated documents are not mandatory, however, I would suggest you to provide as much information as you can. Its seems a hassle initially, but its not worth taking any chances. My application had almost 80 pages for each set. Not saying to bombard you application with pages, but make sure you include all the relevant documentation.

Communication evidence: I took snap shots of Skype (inserted three per page), whats app & viber (inserted 9 per page each) and printed emails. All in color. Highlighted dates and times.

Gave number to the documents and included in the index for the ease of ECO.

I mainly used the information provided by nasmc92 and owe him a thanks. It was very helpful indeed. You can review his post at http://www.immigrationboards.com/uk-tie ... 79795.html

All the best for those who intended to apply.

Last but not the least, thanks to this forum and the moderators who helped. My phone ip was blocked for some reason and I kept wondering what did I do wrong to offend someone here. But all is well when it ends well. GRACIAS !! :)

Regards

hi, congrats

I have a query, I'd appreciate a response.

I would like to know if you maintained any funds for yourself (945), along with 630 for ur wife? I read that you maintained more than 630 but just wanted a more precise information please?

My sponsor took care of my maintenance funds when they applied for my visa last year. Since my wife is joining me later, so I only had to show 630 £. Any amount in excess is for just being on the safer side.
