Family Visitor's Visa

HI There

I would like to bring my mother for few months on family visitor visa. I am settled in UK. How can I proof my relationship with my mother by means of supporting document. I need to mention that my birth certificate is not valid at present. Are there any other alternative evidences that I can send to the UK embassy in order to proof my relationship with my mother.

Birth certificates don't have a validity period. What do you mean by stating that it is not valid?

Actually on my birth certificate, which is in Pakistan, only my father's name is printed and my mothers name is not there.
