FLRM Appeal wait time & process

Hello All,

First of all sorry if I have posted this in wrong place / forum. (If so please guide.)

We made FRLM application in May for my wife and entire process went smooth but in end we got letter stating visa is refused due to insufficient earning claim under Appendix FM 1.7,. Clearly case worker has made a mistake in calculation as on same documents they have granted ILR for me.

We have made appeal online in mid July 2015 and got appeal reference number but since then we have no update from First Tier Tribunal (FTT) on hearing date or further process.

Everytime we call they say wait till you hear from us on hearing date. They also mentioned that currently they are issuing dates which are around August 2016 and did not clarify which month appeal they are currently processing.

My questions are :

1) How long does it take for hearing date information to come?
2) Also is there any way to expedite this?
3) Anyone made appeal in London around July 2015 and got any update?
4) Any suggestion on next step?
