Wifes Visa Renewal - Laminated Marriage & Eng Cert

Post by hardraj » Sat Feb 06, 2016 2:13 pm

Hello I was hoping someone could provide some guidance.

My wifes visa is coming up for renewal. I believe I am to use the FLR (M).

My wife laminated her Marriage Certificate and her English Certificate. For the Marriage Certificate I have a Notarised Copy (From India) for the English Certififcate I dont. Both of the originals were provided at the point of initial visa application which she got.

I wanted to check if the laminated documents would create an issue and if they would is there a solution?

Thanks

Laminated copies won't be accepted as they are difficult to verify for validity.
(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

Well Casa is absolutely right..

Its better if u can get duplicates from where u had the originals.
Notarised copy is not sufficient.
Although in ur case it is not really important but still prevention is better than cure. :)
