Tier 2 General Visa application refused

Hi all

I applied for my tier 2 visa from Mumbai on 25th jan

I got an interview call from the british high commission on feb 5th.

They asked me specific questions on when was the job offered to me. the date of interview and the copy of my offer letter.

Now i see that RLMT was done after a month of extending me an offer. Visa is still under process.

Has any one escaped this situation?

Should I be disheartened already

Yes i was offered the role first then the company conducted RMLT.

What is the way forward if i am rejected?

My cos is valid for 3 months. But my job offer is valid for 1 more month.

What can the company do so that the next application is successsful?

Zero chances of this visa getting approved?

Is your sponsor a genuine sponsor on the approved list? Did you have to pay for a CoS?

If so, they should 100% know what the process is regarding RLMT.

My sponsor is an A rated sponsor and an agency was handeling everything on their behalf.

I think they could have issued me a new offer later dated january to sort the issue. But i have already submitted my old offer letter.

Dear all

Today i received a rejection for my tier 2 general visa because my offer letter was dated october and the cos stated the RMLT dates as mid november to mid december. Clearly it was a non genuine RMLT.

I want to ask what is the way forward? If the company does RMLT again n issues a new COS, I will still be a favoured candidate for this position as my last visa refusal letter will tell the ECO about it. So i will again be rejected. Does this mean i can never appear as a fresh and genuine applicant?

What should my company do in this case?

Please advice. I have lost hopes. Will have to find a new job
