Switching Tier 2 to Tier 2 Shortage occupancy.

HI

I am currently on tier 2 and going to extend my stay to 3 more years as Tier 2 same employer and same SOC code. But For the same SOC code there is a shortage Occupancy for the experienced role and the role description now matches my role as i got more experience now.

So the question is can extend my visa for Same SOC code but this time to a Tier 2 Shortage Occupancy role. ?

So when I finish 5 Years and can get ILr and will not require a salary threshold.
