What to tick in this section.

I am employed at the moment ( I have asked HMRC to send me the employment History_)
I was self employed but when when I rang HMRC Self Asessment they said that they have not issued me a return this year as I was not active for the last two years)
I am also a Director of a company its not trading and I am not getting anything form it. I would select Employed. But possibly explain your self-employment & employment history covering the last 10 years under the additional information section.

Section 1.48
Its asks for Address of Employer or Business ?
Again what to write in it, my employer address? Yes, write your current employers address.

Section 2.1
First arrival in United Kingdom?
I landed at Heathrow Airport , so should I write Heathrow? Yes

Section 6.7
I am applying through NCS Brent so I should Tick BRP enclosed?

They will copy it and give me the original back? Yes, the NCS will take a copy and return the original.

Section 6.11
I have ticked NO as I will send the BRP card if Citizenship Granted

Is this OK? That's fine.

Section 6.14
Give Details where your finger prints were taken , including town or city and country?

I have given finger prints at the the time of ILR and previously FLR , So again confused what to write.
Write the details from when they were last taken - I.e. your ILR.
Section 6.15
Give details of the British diplomatic post(s) involved if the application was or were made abroad?

We have given the finger prints also abroad when we made our initial HSMP application abroad, do we need to write that also? This is not necessary, as this only would apply if the applicants last Biometric details were submitted overseas.

Page 22
I was granted HSMP Visa in 2010 after a long appeal process, do I need to mention my immigration history and details in the form on page 22
This isn't required, as the HO should have all details about your immigration history on record. But if you wish you may include any additional details under the further information section of the form.

FPNs and Natiralization Application

Post by tehminamazher » Mon Feb 01, 2016 7:09 am

Dear Seniors,

I have a question regarding FPNs

5 years back I was overspeeding (30 MPH zone and speed of my car was 34MPH) and was flashed by fixed camera, received a FPN but was offered a sppeding course , which I attended. No points on the license.

Last year police stopped me for using mobile phone whist driving and gave me FPN for using mobible phone but was again offered a course which I attented.

I have checked my license and my details on the DVLA site there are no points and no record on the DVLA.

SO need suggestion from the seniors members I need to declares these or not.

Thanks in advance

There is no conviction involved in your case therefore no need to worry at all. FPN's are issued for fairly minor offences for disposing off matter without going to court. Fpns spent immediately after payment. Hope not worried now.
I had fpn and applied naturalisation recently

Dear Seniors,

As appointment date is coming closer more queries popping up I have my appointmemt at Brent NCS next week

MN1 Form
Section 1.1
I am applying for my 13 year old daughter born abroad (she has got ILR for 1 year), is it ok to write Section 3(1)

Section 3
I think so I dont need to fill in that as we both the parents are not British Citizens and are applying at the Naturalization and passport at the same time.

Section 8
Who need to to fill in this section in MN1?

Form AN
Few silly questions, please can some one confirm are these OK
My name is Tehmina Mazher
In section 1.5 I need to write Mazher as Surname/Family name
in Section 1.6 I need to write Tehmina
Section 1.7 My name was Tehmina ******** which I should write in this section.

Hopefully seniors experienced memebers will reply to my silly queries.

Thanks in advance.

The only really silly question is the one you are afraid to ask.

Yes, 3(1)

Yes, skip section 3

Section 8: one parent

Names seem to make sense.

Thanks noajthan for the clarification.

Again one more query

I was flashed by the fixed camera for overspeeding 34MPH in the 30MPH zone, received Notice of Intended prosecustion and at the same time was offered the speed awareness course, I opted for speed awareness course all went well , no points

Three years passed and on my way back from office received a call form home as son was not feeling well , picked the phone and unfortunately was stopped by Police for using mobile whislt driving, The police man asked me do you want to say anything m I just said that I am sorry an I am fault but was so worried about my sons health that I picked the phone.

Again I was booked a course and no points or action were taken.

I have also checked by licence from the DVLA and it says
0 Offences
0 Points

Now I am in a perplex as its comes under Good character and should I declare these two incidents on Page 22 of the AN form. But my license is showing 0 points and 0 offences.

If I need to list it on the form , how should I word these.

As my application date is coming closer my heart is sinking :(

Please can some one guide me what to do.

Thanks in advance.

You can declare it in the further/additional info section of the form.

You can use what you have said above; just add a few details such as date, location.
Then you have demonstrated honesty and declared it.

In all likelihood caseworker will disregard it.

Hi. Is there any one who can confirm me which is the best source of document to meet The requirement of English language exemption.

You have an academic qualification recognised by Uk Naric as equivalent to the standard of a Bachelor degrees, Masters degree or PHd in Uk and must be taught in English.

To meet this should I order Statement of comparability or English Language assessment as my wife degree from Pakistan was taught in English and is equivalent to a standard Bachelors degree of Uk.
Thanking in advance

Not really. Please read the FAQ's mentioned on this website. Does your degree gives you 10 points on points based calculator?

That is what you have decided to do - not necessarily the home office requirement :)

Hi UKBAlovestory,

Yes I decided to go for both SOC and ELA.

Now its up to G M what he decides.

If one can get a ELA by spending a little bit of money I think its better to go for that option also.

All depends on the OP circumstances.

Hi many thanks for your reply. If SOC meets the criteria than why apply both. SOC if equivalent to standard bachelor than ELA is automatically met. In the application if we attach a letter from University saying that medium of instructions was in English than that would suffice.

Hi guys.. Many thanks for your responses. The documents we submit to Uk Naric for SoC includes a final certificate. Do we have to attest the certificate or we can send it the as a normal scanned version.

Thanking in advance

Hi GM,

Just scan the document and upload it to their portal instead of posting.

This way you can track the progress of your application online and the process will be quicker.

Sorry for starting in my old thread.

Just curious that as we are UK for 6 years few days and have already applied through JCAP scheme,

a question is coming in my mind regarding the MN1 application for my daughter

she is approx 14 and we have just provided a letter from her current Grammar school which stated that she has been studying since last 3 years.

1) Do they do check the children record from the county, all previous schools or last school they are attending.

2) What if child has a bad record or has been given a warning

3) Why we don't provide the detail for all the schools she has attended in UK.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks
