Payslips and tax return has a spelling mistake

Post by mukilank » Mon Dec 10, 2007 4:57 pm

Dear All,

I am planning to apply for HSMP and I am getting 75 points.

But, unfortunately, when I looked into my payslips for last 12 months and my tax return, there is a spelling mistake in all the places.

In all the places, I have an extra "a" with my surname.

Will it create me a problem in applying?

Thanks and Regards
Mukilan

Hi mukil,

Just get an avidavit stating that both names belongs to same person and mention the same in covering letter.

In my case its different. In my pay slip the first name and last name are not joined

Joe Mary

In form 16 its like JoeMary. will that be a problem?

Forge to tell,
I contacted the HSMP here in UK and they told me you need to ask your employer to write a letter on headed paper (and sealed) stating that there was an error in the pays lips and P60, as simple as that
