Hi,

Just to confirm is there a minimum residency requirement for dependent parents to stay with EU national in EU state where EU citizen is exercising treaty rights, before moving to UK (under Surinder Singh Judgement). I have heard different views on this and will appreciate a detail response. Thanks

Thats really helpful, so the actual scenario is EU national is exercising treaty rights for about a year and dependent parents will be staying with them for more or less 7 months, which i reckon is appropriate, your views on this is highly welcome, Thanks

UK plays hard ball with its centre of life wrapper around current EU law.
That is clearly a hot topic at the moment - so your move & all of your supporting evidence clearly needs to be unimpeachable.

In other EU countries 3 months-plus residency in a.n.other member state may suffice.
In current climate and in Eire(/for UK) it seems the longer the better.
