Hi Gurus,
I have been working in UK since June 2011 (held Tier 1 G from July 2010 though) till date. I worked as permanent employee in the following order -
1 - June 2011 to Mar 2013 - Local UK Employment on permanent basis
2 - May 2013 to Sept 14 - Hired in UK on permanent basis through IN company (IN Company put me on deputation model on the grounds of their internal policy)
3 - Oct 14 to till date - Local UK Employment on permanent basis
For above point no 2, it has been always painful working through IN company since the day I joined and then I left knowing the fact that the tax and NI practices to pay HMRC are not right.
I am approaching close to ILR in June this year and I requested HMRC to share the employment history and NI records history and that's where I got surprised (somewhere I knew as well) hearing that there is no record for IN company in HMRC database and no NI has been paid. I have written to Employer and they accepted their mistake now.
What should be next step I should take to correct all my taxes and NI problems created by IN employer in HMRC and IN employer also agreed y'day to pay the Employer NI as well?
I want all my records to be correct in first place at HMRC irrespective of. I had been in debates with IN employer right from the day I joined, left and afterwards (have got email proofs) also and now before going to ILR.
Please assist.
Thanks.
