No, not at all.
BC is not a 'visa'.

In principle yes this is quite a normal approach.

It does depend on circumstances.
Where were children born?
Do children have ILR?
Where are children now?
How old are they & how long in UK (if in UK)?

If the children are under 13, yes, they can be registered along with naturalisation of both parents.

If children are over 13, they are expected to have legally resided in the UK (with any leave to remain) for at least two years before registration. But other than that, they should be fine with being registered along with your naturalisation.

Good that you had foresight to obtain ILR for children.
Born abroad means they apply to register under s3(1) of BNA; this is at at discretion of Home Secretary.

No need to hold ILR for a fixed time such as '12 months'.
However older teenagers should have been in UK for, say, 2 years or more.
Obviously they have to wait for you to complete 12 months of ILR if no parent is married to a BC.

If aged over 10 minors are subject to the same 'good character' requirements as for adults.
(No LITUK or English for minors ofcourse).
Simpler biometrics requirements for young children.

So, yes, you can all apply together.
Good luck.

thanks. as we will apply as a family via NCS will we expect our naturalisation certificate first ( in case of approval) and then will get children registration certificate (on the basis of british citizenship of parents)?

It all depends - the applications will most likely be treated & processed separately with bowels of Home Office.
The registration certificate/s may come (by mail) first as minors do not attend an oath-taking ceremony.

Parents will be processed individually, no guarantee of determinations at same time.

If parents fail, children may fail (all fees lost).
There is a check box on the minor MN1 form about this - read & answer that carefully.
