travel on temporary stamp4 without visa to schengen?

Hi all?

i m british citizen and my wife non eu live in cork ireland
just got temp stamp 4 and applied irish re entry visa.
planning to go to switzerland for short break but without applying for schengen visa
if it is possible
i was reading so many articles and some says my wife does not visa because of married to eu citizen
we might just need marriage certificate at the border to gain entrance
others says she needs entry visa because she is got temp stamp 4

bit confused and if you have similar situation please share your experience
