Tier 2 ICT SHORT TERM - General Visa

Hi Team,

It will grateful and gives immense pleasure if you can clarify me for the below.

I am in London traveled on Tier 2 ICT Short Term Visa (Applied after April 2015). My Visa ends on August 23 2016.

Currently I have Job offer with COS from client.

Can I apply for Visa to Convert to Tier 2 General now?
or
Can i apply for Tier 2 General with COS after completion of ICT Short Term?

What is the possibilities to join the Job offer?

Neither option. To be eligible to apply for Tier 2 General, you have to serve a 12 month cooling off period outside the UK before you can apply.

No. You will not be able to apply for Tier 2 general without serving a one year cooling off period from your ICT visa end date or date of departure from UK, whichever is earlier.

Yes, provided you meet the annual salary criteria for ICT long term visa (~£41K/annum).

Can i apply for Long Term when i am currently in Short?
or I have to apply only after serving Short Term?

You cannot apply for a Tier 2 ICT with another employer/sponsor. You can only apply for this category with your current sponsor. The clue is in the name of the visa 'inter company transfer'.

There is no easy way that you can change sponsor. Intra/Inter = same meaning different spelling.
