Complaining

Post by zkashan » Mon Feb 29, 2016 11:54 am

Hi

What is the best way to complaint for a visit visa which has been refused twice for whom I'm a sponsor. I believe some documents were ignored. I tried :

consular.UAE@fco.gov.uk - don't do visas
visa.abudhabi@fco.gov.uk - don't monitor that mailbox
complaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk - forwarded to Croydon and they don't deal with applications from outside UK.

Either complaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk forwarded to Croydon by mistake, or i'll have to keep pursuing https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-outside-uk until they lodge a complain if they do that at all.

Anyone had any suggestion

What were both reasons for refusals?

Given that you don't have a thread on this visit visa application and seem to have only posted in this very long, tedious thread below where your posts have likely been overlooked and lost due to the nature and general 'chit chat' in the thread, perhaps you can elaborate a bit more on your circumstances.

In both bases they said that there isn't enough bank balance with the applicants to pay for the trip even though in the application, cover letter and phone call for sponsor I said that I will be paying for the trip, not my parents (and they acknowledged that the sponsor - me can support them for the trip).

Update on complaints -

1. Emailed complaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk and got a reply from Croydon saying they don't deal with decisions made abroad. Contact UKVI

2. UKVI say to file a complaint according to the website on https://www.gov.uk/government/organisat ... -procedure (I think complaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk is the correct step).

So it's a catch 22.
