Unclear how OP could state he met requirements on basis requirements were previously met for settlement (since 2013) if the English certificate submitted was only obtained a year ago.zahmed05 wrote:Hi,
Did you select met requirements after November 2013 in application.
If yes, you don't have to do another English test.
Doesn't sounds right.
OP seems to state he has had ILR for "8 years" so that must have been acquired using another (earlier) language test certificate.zahmed05 wrote:I assume OP has used the same certificate to obtain settlement a year ago.
As he has used the certificate, he should be able to tick the box which says he already met requirements for settlement and be able to use the same certificate again for settlement.

Test now has to be a SELT taken at a centre within the circle of trust.Ozzy wrote:Just to add that the B1 test is CEFRGrade ESOL entry 3 Grade 5 GESE.
it has an accreditation number at the bottom which starts with 1-44...
I did this test in January 2014 in a SELT centre in Manchester by Trinity college London. I doubt they will accept it as 5th November has passed??
I agree with you, so the NCS will only take photo copy from LIUK and will ignore B1 certificates and is it the same case with UK taught degrees?WR1 wrote:but was previously accepted for ILR applied AFTER 28 October 2013, then all they need to do is tick the relevant box on the AN form. DO NOT attach the English certificate with it. This will only create confusion.
I think, it says otherwise.tier1o wrote:I agree with you, so the NCS will only take photo copy from LIUK and will ignore B1 certificates and is it the same case with UK taught degrees?WR1 wrote:but was previously accepted for ILR applied AFTER 28 October 2013, then all they need to do is tick the relevant box on the AN form.
