Is it required to have any job offer/search details for EC

Hi Experts,

I will be applying for HSMP based EC shortly. My query is

- do someone need to have job offer or job search details before applying EC?

- what could be the impact if person has none? I am in IT and till date have not even tried the job search in UK.

Not necessarily, it is difficult to get job offers when outside the UK.

Just search the job boards and give print job details that might suit you, make sure that the jobs you print does have a salary quoted to make the EC officer know that you can earn that much when you take up the job.

Hi,

I go today my EC for two years.
I also didn't had any UK job offer.
But I had done a search for my profile(technology in which I am working) and attached that with my EC application. I am also working in IT only. So you can make a search on any UK job site and attached that with your application.
