ILR Query

Post by nikaljeaa1 » Sun Mar 06, 2016 7:29 pm

Hi
My Tier 2 ICT visa was stamped on 1st April 2010 and I travelled from India to UK by may 2010.
I travelled back to India by June 2011 but the visa remained valid till Oct 2012. My visa got expired when I was there in India.
Later I stamped new Tier 2 ICT visa in march 2013 and I came back to UK in the same month. Since then till now I am in UK.
So in totality my UK duration is 4 years+.
Whether I will be eligible for UK ILR?

Please can you answer my query?
I appreciate all your responses in advance.
Cheers.

I doubt you will be eligible for ILR without switching to TIER2 general. Lets wait for others to comment.

You are not accumulating any time towards Indefinite Leave (5 year Tier 2 route) on your current visa. The time spent on Tier 2 ICT visa doesn't count in the 5 year eligibility if you are thinking that route. If you are aiming for 10 year long residence your stay from 2013 would be counted provided you satisfy other eligibility conditions at the time.
