Change of address-December Applicant

Post by suzuka23 » Tue Mar 08, 2016 12:35 pm

I have applied for my citizenship on 03/12/2015. I moved house on the 1st of January and the NCS had put a note on my application giving my new postal address. I have sent a letter with my new address around the 20th of December to again notify them of my change of address. However, the biometrics requests was sent to the old one, luckily I managed to get it a week later so I have a delay of 10 delay for biometrics.

I sent another letter with the new address, no news since then.

I am in touch with the tenant of my previous house and says there is no post for me.

Is there a way to contact UKBA to check if they do have my new address?

Thank you for your help

i tried reaching UKBA in the below contact no. and it worked:
0300 123 2253
probably you need to choose option 2 as its a existing application in your case

Just tried but since I have applied less than 6 months ago, I don;t get to talk to anyone.

I am in touch with the tenant in the other house but you never know, people don't know how important that letter is and might not let me know straight away :(

Never ending stress

Why not redirect the post using royal mail. 3 months 30£ and 6 months 40£. I am using the same. I don't think it's too late now. It takes 5 days to activate

Where did you write letters to? They should have been addressed to:

Change of address team
11th floor, Lunar House
40 Wellesley Road
Croydon
CR9 2BY

or

https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outrea ... pdate.ofml

which worked for me.

I have just filled in the online form. Lets see

I sent two letters to this address, this is what I was given at NCS at time of application, but they still sent it the biometrics to the previous one:

UK Border Agency
Nationality Group
PO Box 306
Liverpool
L2 0QN

Thank you all for suggestions and help
