ILR (Tier 1 + Tier 2)

Post by RAJ007 » Mon Mar 07, 2016 3:52 pm

Hello Everyone,

I am going to apply for my ILR soon based on my 5 years route combined with Tier 1 general and Tier 2 general category.

I have done my masters and used by degree for my Tier 1 application.

Now my question is that is it OK to submit my masters degree for my English language requirement which is asked in section 4.3 in SET(O) form OR do I need to give Trinity College London test at B1 level just to be on safer side.

Also please let me know if I need to submit any other documents along with my application.

Your help will be much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Hello Everyone,

Is it true that Point Based Calculator will be discontinued from 6th April 2016, as I have read on below website?

http://www.newlandchase.com/immigration ... continued/

So how we can claim Knowledge of English based on our Master or Bachelor Degree.

Please give your views on this.

Many Thanks.

Yes, PBS Calculator for english will be discontinued from 5th April, pls search for my posts and you will get little more details around it.

From 6th April Naric is starting a new service (@ £125) that will replace the existing PBS calculator.
I checked with both Naric and home office and they said I can still go ahead and use naric's existing ELA or comparability statement and I have applied for ELA.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
Jacob

Hi Jacob,

Thanks for your reply.

I think I should give the English Language Test that would be straight forward.

Also my 5 years are combined of Tier 1 General and T2 General, and currently I am on Tier 2.

One of the question on Set(O) form states as follows;
For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 2 migrant, documents showing that
you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules.

Could you please let me know what documents they are talking about. ?

Also all the member on this forum, give your advice on this please.

Many Thanks.
