ILR ELIGIBILITY

Post by rosdean » Sat Mar 12, 2016 8:03 am

Dear Friends,

One of my friends is back in UK for 3 years. He previously stayed in UK on single visa single employer with Workpermit period as below

January-2004 to Aug-2005 extended to Mar-2007 extended to Dec-2008

He didn't apply for ILR during that time due to some reason. As I understand, the eligibility was 4 years, is he now be able to apply the ILR and what would be the process etc?

Cheers

No, he cannot apply for ILR based on previous visa if he left the UK in 2008 for a substantial period before returning.
