I received this in the post on Friday, I am not sure what it means. I tried calling my lawyer but he isn't picking up.

Has anyone else received something like this? What am I supposed to do?

It means the home office have withdrawn their original decision, visa will be issued

So I don't need to do anything from my end? Why is it asking for my consent?

No I haven't heard anything from Islamabad, so how can I submit passport lol. This is the 1st thing that has come since I was notified of the ECM withdrawing their decision.

When and how will I receive the notification to submit passport? Is it through a phone call, letter to my husband (appellant), or by email?

You might want to get a new TB certificate if your old one has expired while you are waiting

I did enquire about this to my lawyer and he said not to just yet, he said to wait for Islamabad to tell me submit passport and that they would take care of the TB test while my husband is there. Has this happened before, or is my lawyer making it up? I personally have not heard anything like this before.

My wife received a call from Islamabad Gerrys around 10 days ago after our appeal was allowed in court, she was told to wait for email call letter to submit passport( still waiting for the email by the way) they also told her to renew her TB certificate if the old one has expired, I think you should get it done to save time.

I don't think that's the case, it's been 10 days waiting for call letter, my appeal was allowed at the same time as Maryam2011, she submitted passport 2 weeks ago, I'm still waiting for call letter, don't think we have to pay it.

By filling in the missing appendix 2 form which led him to that decision,[/quote]

Why were you refused, if you don't mind me asking? And how was the whole court hearing experience?

3 reasons for refusal
A) missing payslip in sequence of 6 months(overturned in review)
B) rental income I used for 2 properties to meet financial requirement, ECO was not satisfied that we might move in to one of the properties if the visa was granted, hence the income would cease.
C) my wife had previously overstayed and absconded on a visit visa

Does anyone have a clue as to how long it takes for a submitted passport to get back with a visa after a call in letter.
My passport was submitted over 4 weeks ago, IHS has also been paid.

Congratulations on the good news, TB certificate should be renewed, English certificate does not matter, go online and pay IHS fee, you will need your GWF number to do this.

Go online and search pay IHS uk, you need to register, you only need email address, passport number and payment card, once you register and pay you will be given an IHS number, simples!!

Also use the email to book TB appointment it's much simpler and easier.

Hi,

We applied for spouse visa 2 years back and we won court decision last year.

Got a call last week to submit passport and was told it will take 2-3 weeks, they didn't ask for fees or anything. I got couple of questions :

1. What is IHS fee and do I need to pay it - no one asked for it and it wasn't in the letter?
2. I heard after visa has been issued you can only stay 2 weeks while it used to be 30 days, is that correct?

Thanks
