Once the payment aspect of your application has been processed, you will be sent an acknowledgement letter. Since it is a bank draft (from an overseas bank?) the clearence of the monies might take 4-5 working days. Thereafter add another week as buffer for time taken in recieving the mail in Pakistan.

No you will not get any acknowledgement from the HO. Only applicants from 1st Dec onwards using the new HSMP application forms will recieve ack letters. You will have to call up or email HSMP team to obtain your reference number.

Fillable as in electronically? HO has not come out with the option to download a form that you can fill up on your computer. Someone else from the forum had earler converted the PDF into a PDF writable. Now that the new forms are in MS Word, some of the fields are fillable but not all. They are read-only locked out. For the more determined, there are ways to unlock and reset the readonly form so that you can fill the data on your comp.

I have a problem, may be some other people are also stuck in the same problem. My friend submitted his HSMP form in first week of October, his payment rejected twice but finally his payment has been accepted in third attempt. I earlier two attempt he did a minor mistake in writing his credit card details. so his third attempt was successful. This whole process took one month. His successful attempt was made on Nov 04. Since then he is writing emails to HSMP team about "CASE REFERENCE" but till now he received nothing.

What should we do now, either keep sending emails OR call them. Please give the relevant Phone No. where they disclose the Case Reference No.

Looking forward to your helpful replies.

Best Regards.

4. Your nationality.
5. Date of delivery at Doncaster including Courier/ Royal Mail reference number.
6. Date of fee payment

HSMP acknowledgement and New Fillable form

Post by bs » Wed Dec 22, 2004 2:44 pm

My HSMP application reached Dancester on 16th December and I was sent the acknowledgement on 17th. Money was taken off from my credit card on 17th.

New HSMP application form available on the website, is in Microsoft Word format. Its fillable in the sense that you can fill it up using Microsoft Word. Only the section about payment details is a hassle and you should fill it up manually. I filled up the rest of the form electronically. The best part is that you can expand the enclosure/attachment section (at the end) to suit the number of documents you have sent. Plus you can fill in the boxes nicely (about your plans for finding a job and all that crap). I suggest you use different fonts (than theirs) to differentiate the information you have filled up and the matter already in the form.
