Urgent - Switching from WP to HSMP Dependent

I am in UK on HSMP visa and my wife is in UK on WP visa. Can she switch in-country from WP to my HSMP dependent.?

I read somewhere on this forum that this can be done using FLR(O) form. However, I also read somewhere that this cannot be done in-country and should apply for EC from home country. This is really confusing..

Has anyone done this?. Please advise.

It would be helpful if anyone can share their experiences of switching from WP to HSMP dependent.
