antouk - I did not mention anything related to my initial stay. I believe that if your documentation is in place and if you have enough funds available they do not really bother as to how you would manage that part. I had shown total of GBP 13,000 as available funds. This was totalled up by adding my cash balance in savings account, Mutual funds and investments in stock market.

Kumar - Yes, Your UK account balance would be considerd for funds availaibility. You do not need own any property. As you stayed in UK, you might have a UK National Insurance Number, if yes, I believe you will need to mention that in the new form format.

What was your answer to Question Q5.6 on VAF2 :-

"Q5.6 Have you made an application to the Home Office to remain in the UK in the last 10 years?"

Should I mention the recent (one and only that I have made) HSMP application details here ?

Thanks in advance.

I am planning to apply for EC next week but still have a few questions unanswered.

I am applying for EC along with my wife's..funds are on my name and my wife's name...Can I use these for both her and my application.. and do they need to be separate? I am planning to get a CA certificate can I include both our funds in the same letter or do they need to be in separate letters..

Thanks in Advance
Everything comes to an end eventully...

Hi MK2773,

You have mentioned in the "Other Documents" you submitted:

a) Available funds summary
b) Statement of investments in equity & mutual funds

Please let me know for "Available funds summary" did you submit a certified copy from CA or you prepared it on your own?

Secondly for "Statement of investments in equity & mutual funds " did you submit authenticated copy of statement? If I take the equity details printout with no of shares and current market value, will it be sufficient?

Thanks in advance.
