seancody wrote:Seriously, you guys need to stop calling them all the time. There is no need to call them if you only sent your application a few weeks ago. If your payment has been debited, then it will be processed. There is no point calling them all the time to find out what is going on.
Of course you can keep calling them if you wish, but there us no real need to.
Congrats and Ive been waiting for 8 months now so I will take your advice and ask for an supervisor..drabix1 wrote:Finally! After 13 months of waiting, 2 letters of my MP, letter to Senior Manager of the MMS team got an approval letter! Good luck toall of you who is waiting!
IMHO: if you are waiting more than 6 months do not hesitate to call BIA, and ask for Team supervisor. They have a power to contact your case officer directly and generally give more information. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you!

I applied last Feb and got the approval letter in 3rd week of December while I was holidaying.shire19 wrote:Congrats and Ive been waiting for 8 months now so I will take your advice and ask for an supervisor..drabix1 wrote:Finally! the only thing i may add here is that i have gone back to India but for business for 4 months, should that delay my application?
lastly, should I be worried as the situation stands?
Many thanks in advance,
Raj

Hi Raj i think they are doing character checks thats called a LEVEL 3 and does take some time...also the 4 month trip may set you in the red for no of absences...
you should call them and ask for supervisor they have the power to contact your caseworker and supply you with a bit more info about ur case

may I just ask if we consider fact that my application maybe refused, why dont they get me out of my misery and tell me that?
will I be allowed to reapply again if that's the case?
