Missed call from Colnbrook Immigration Removal Centre

Post by timetraveller » Wed Mar 23, 2016 11:48 am

Greetings,

Would anyone know under what circumstances would someone with a valid Tier 2 General visa receive a call from Colnbrook Immigration Removal Centre ?

I have received a missed a call from this centre yesterday morning, but when I called them today, they said " we will call you when we want to".

Note: I entered the UK legally in 2010 as an MSc student, then got my PSW visa and then moved to Tier 2 general ( which is still valid until December 2016). I have never overstayed - and don't have any criminal record.

Anyone here had similar call/experience with this removal centre :?: ??

Thanks,

Wrong number maybe?

Any issues with your sponsor and their license that you know of?

Hi CR007,

There are no problems with my sposnor at all. its an A rated sponsor and they still exist in the latest list:

Also, recently HR told me that they will be able issue me with a CoS for my Tier 2 renewal. So, I don't really think they have any problem ?

Do you think that their license might have expired? and that warranted the immigration guys to call me ?

Cheers,

I think it might just be a miss dialed number.

Is the sponsor an employment agency or 'body shop' type of contractor?

How have you verified the number that called you is correct and genuine?

Maybe this is all a prank call from a 'friend'.

If they'are asking for money, know for a fact that its a scam call and immediately report to the police. read the news link below
