Query regarding impact on naturalisation application

Post by madmedman » Wed Mar 23, 2016 11:43 pm

Hi there. My apologies for a rather unusual question. Please delete if its inappropriate. I have had stamp 1 upgraded to stamp 4 on my Irish born child basis. I would be eligible to apply for naturalisation in august.

I want to ask, whether a locum/agency job would have any negative impact on my application. I am employed full time and inorder to make ends meet, I thought of doing locums during my annual leave but I am not sure whether this could potentially be frowned upon by INIS or not.

Would anyone have any advice/suggestion for me? Will appreciate it.

I've been in full time locum work since 2014, I applied based on the five years criteria.

Also had a speeding ticket which I declared on the form.

Applied in Sept 2015 and paid the 950 in January.

Locum shouldn't be a problem as long as you pay taxes on all your earnings.

Good luck.
