Hi,
I'm in TIER 2 ICT and current in UK working for the company who sponsored my Visa.
Can i switch to TIER 2 General if i have found a sponsor locally in UK?
Do i need to be aware of any other things / complications?
Regards
Jil

Thanks Poper.
As per Q3 in the link, my case is not eligible. as my TIER2 ICT was issued late 2015.
Q4 says about cool off period of 12 months. Is it 12 months for both TIER 2 ICT short term and long term?
I heard only for long terms visa the cool off period is 12 months and short term it is only 3 months.
CR001 - Yes you are right. Above query is for my friend.

Please state when you start a topic not relevant to yourself that you are posting for a friend.
How long is your 'friends' visa valid for?

12 months for both but I think there is a rule about short term ICT but only in certain circumstances.

The COS for ICT Short Term should have been less than 3 months in order to apply for a cool off exclusion. I remember reading this in one of the old threads. You might need to look for it in the Tier 2 Policy.
