Premium Service - Tier 1 (General) Dependant

Post by Spacetab » Sat Apr 02, 2016 8:34 am

Hi,

I am in Tier 1 (General) and about to apply for Settlement in May. My wife is PBS dependent and her visa will expire before she completes the qualifying period. I have learned from the forum that it is wise to extend her PBS dependent visa.

I plan to use the premium service but wonder how could I book her appointment on the same date as I do. But when I use the online booking system, it appears that it only allow me to added another dependant who is going to apply for settlement at the same time.

My question is that is it still possible to do it on the same date (in one booking) for my case? And how shall I do it?

Many thank,
WQ

So both of your visas have the same expiry date?
You will have to book 2 appointments one after the other.

It's advisable to leave around 2 hours between your appointment and you wife's.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

Thank you both for prompt help. Both our visas expire on the same date.

Does that mean my wife need to apply upon my settlement has been granted?

The fact that I have settled does not affect the expiry date of her current dependent visa?

I prefer to book the premium service for both on the same date and wonder how that is possible.

Many thanks!

Yes, they will be able to consider her application on the basis of yours and hence Casa has suggested the gap of 2 hours between the two appointments on the same day.

The fact that you have settled will not affect the expiry date of her current dependent visa.
