TIER 2 SWITCHING COMPANY/SOC HELP

Guys,

I have Tier 2 General visa since 2013 which is expiring on May 9 2016.

My SOC code is 2121 at the moment but if I'm switching to 2134/2135, can I apply straightaway if I have a CoS from the new company?

Will RLMT come in place here in my situation? If so I would like to know what has to be done exactly in order to switch before my current leave expires.

You can make a change of employment application any time before your visa expires but only if you have a new CoS for which the new sponsor will have to carry out a RLMT unless the job is a shortage occupation. One job under SOC 2135 is a shortage occupation, see:

Another query, If I could not extend or switch over before my current leave expires on May 9 2016 will I have any option to stay/appeal as I've got my own home here in UK.

If not, Please suggest me what will be the best possible way going forward.

Home ownership is completely irrelevant within the immigration rules. You either have leave to remain or you don't.
If you have not applied for a new visa by the expiry date of your current one then you enter into to slippery slope of being here without leave. This starts to diminish your rights and basically is not a position you want to be in.

Thanks for the response. I never wanted to stay past the expiry date and it will affect my future career. I'm trying my level best to switch before my current leave expires.

Further to my earlier query, if I switch company but with same SOC code 2121 as now, my new employer/sponsor should do RLMT process?
