ILR eligibility

Hi,

I am currently earning 31k and salary bracket fall under my SOC code. I have 2 years left in my 5yr Tier 2 visa and will be applying for my ILR.

Do i need to be earning 35k to be eligible?

To be fair, it depends on your currency job (to some extent).

The new law for minimum of 35K will not apply to nurses, PhD-level jobs and those on the official ‘Shortage Occupation List’.

Yes you have to earn 35K

35,000 from 6th APril 2016
35,500 from 6th APril 2018
35,800 from 6th April 2019
36,200 from 6th April 2020

Do we have to earn £35,000 for one whole year to apply for ILR or only at the time applying for ILR?

At the time of applying for ILR. i think 3 months payslips need to be submitted.
