Speeding 3 points on licence

Hi,

One of my friend is going for ILR in 2 weeks time but recently he got a speeding fine and 3 points on licence. Will this affect his ILR application? Also does he need to declare it somewhere in application?

from reading your post I believe your friend got a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN).
Though it is a criminal offence but not a conviction and therefore wouldn't affect the outcome of an ILR application.

If you can tell, through which visa route your friend is applying for ILR, it would make it possible to tell you where in the form you need to disclose anything or not disclose at all.

however I had applied for mt t2 extension and was honest, I have read many posts where people have been refused as they did not disclose it.

I put a copy of my counterpart to show that this was my only offence and got 3 points with £100 fine.

I had my extension approved, also i will be applying for my ilr soon.
