No, I think Beena understood that your wife is the sponsor in UK and wants to visit you in Pakistan, cautioning your wife against taking unpaid leave from work for the visit ( = sponsor, don't take unpaid leave).

A visit visa is very unlikely to be granted while the applicant has an ongoing appeal on a refused settlement application.

No u don't have to withdraw appeal to apply again. As I had a appeal in process and then submitted a new application.

You'd have to withdraw it to get the documents back. But if you don't need the documents for the new case, you can submit along side an appeal.

I have one question which came in to mind Whilst I was reading the thread that if reapplied and appeal is overturned then if the new application fee will be refunded or not?

for signature you need to go into your "User Control Panel" on top left corner.
- Click on "Profile"
- and after that "Edit Signature"
- Paste your time line (text) there
- and Press Submit Button

Is it true that if you get just one emails stating:

This is an email to confirm that your UK visa application has been processed and will now be returned to the Visa Application Centre for collection.

With just the gwf number in subject bar, does this mean visa was rejected?

got decision overturned at review stage, refusal reason was they were unable to verify english results.

Review deadline for my case is 12th may 2016. I was thinking about talking to my local mp? Is there any point in this at this point? Please can someone provide me with advice

Salaam, just an update, I went to see my MP on Wednesday, she contacted UKVI requesting an update as to why my wife had not received a call letter after successful appeal, she was told the call letter had already been sent out, however we had received nothing, she requested them to resend it and allhamdolillah we have received email this morning to submit passport.

Why u want to withdraw ua appeal as only few days r left in ua deadline.I think u should wait may b its get overturned.Neways u can reapply at any time without withdrawing ua appeal.
PlZ if u got ua dcision thn lemme know as our deadlines r same..

Yes i'll be waiting as i need my documents back too so hopefully after my deadline and abt ilets i have found out its equal to general training if listening/ speaking both are abv 4.0 each u could even check on ukvi guidance fr language on thir web
