As far as I understand,anoops1984 wrote:Hi All,
My ILR is due in September 2016 and I am earning above the required limit. Recently I read this MAC review news release on gov.uk site.
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _FINAL.pdf
Some of the topics in that are terrible like increasing minimum salary threshold for the new entrant to £30,000 from £20,800. My job code in Tier 2 is 2136 and the minimum salary for the experienced is £31,100 at the moment. If the new entrant threshold is going to be £30,000 then there is a chance the experienced rates will go over the roof.
I just wonder does anyone have idea how this will affect the people already on Tier 2 and going for ILR?
Kind regards
We don't work for HO, so it would be a guess if we stated anything. Keep an eye on the website, it is all you can do.ursdinez wrote:Still wondering if we will have the new SOC codes for 2016 today? Please advice.
Thanks,

Looks like Tier 2 ILR applicant need to earn minimum 35k and if the experienced rate for soc code is more than 35k then their earnings should match or above experienced rate.Does anyone know how the appropriate rate and the new 35k threshold work ? Does the ILR applicant need to meet both of the requirements or only the 35k ?
