Post by Bhumi » Mon Dec 24, 2007 11:52 am

hi guys,

Can someone please advise do i need any extra documents to apply for a schegen visa longer than 1 yr.
I will be travelling a lot to these schegen countries all the time on business visit. So everytime my company sponsers me for it but i get visa for 90 days which is a hassle if you need to travel every three months.i have my schegen appt for germany now on 4th Jan..so i am thinking of getting a visa for 1 yr. I have my employer letter requesting for a visa for 1 yr but will i need that help or is there a seperate form and documents required.

Your help appreciated..

I think they give you what they feel like on the day....

Anecdotally I think the first visa is usually single entry short term then subsequent ones longer multis but I could be wrong.

You're generally right I think - though we got a 6 month multiple entry (from Belgium) as our first one.
