Hi All,
I have submitted my wife's FLR (M) 0n 15th of this month. Payment has been taken 0n 21/03/16 but We haven't received any letter since then. Is any one else who is in the same boat? I am worrying if they have posted letter for bio metric at wrong address.

So far..
Received by HO on the 15/03/16
Fees deducted on the 21/03/16

And patiently waiting for the rest.

Kind regards
Update:
Confirmation letter and Biometrics arrived in post on the 26/03/16 dated the 23/03/16
And submitted my biometrics on the 29/03/16, was rather quick and pleasant. Now in for the long wait as i can imagine that applications are piled in before the price increase in both application and the annual income threshold. This is my first FLR M request and my Fiance visa ends today, I have this eerie clandestino feeling  :D

A letter included asking us to send sons valid passport within 10 days.
Called HO to inform all passports were sent in application actually 5 in all, was advised to reply through the HO envelope to inform the officers of this.
Specifically asked should we include photocopies of the passports as they have all originals and was told NO.
letter sent to inform HO of documents they have and sent by recorded delivery.

Biometrics to be done on Mon as letters came in on Fri and son needs to come over to MK from university.
What is to be expected now please?

Any seniors to reply please.

I applied for my FLR (M)

Application sent 15/03/2016
Received by HO 16/03/2016
Payment taken 24/03/2016

And I did not receive anything from the HO. Should I be worrying and contacting them? If so, does anyone know if there is a contact number or something?

Thank you!

Be patient. Take into account the Easter weekend/holidays and the huge number of applications sent before the fee increase.

Thank you very much for your comment. :D

I think I started panicking once I read the thread and have seen a few posts, where other people mentioned the similar application times. I think the guidance FLR (M) notes are a bit misleading, as it states 'You will receive a letter of acknowledgement within a few days of your application being received".

Application Sent on: 09/03/2016
Application delivered to HO on: 10/03/2016
HO Acknowledgement letter: 17/03/2016
Biometrics Letter arrived on: 18/03/2016

As you can see there is nothing about my payment as it has not been taken yet which I am not sure if I should be worried or not as it will be 4 weeks next Thursday (04/07) since they have had my application. I am really confused as it seems that most everyone had to have the payment made before you received your letter for the biometrics.

Any suggestions, advice or comments are welcome.... :)

Just realized what has gone wrong. I scanned my application into our computer to have a copy for myself and it would seem that I have gotten one number wrong on the debit card. How do I go about fixing this as I don't want to wait for a letter as they have had 3 weeks now to inform of this issue.

Hmm sounds very similar to my situation. I'm unsure if there will be anything you can do about it until they contact you with further information. I eventually got a letter telling me to resubmit my payment page of the original application. You will have the opportunity to submit your payment again so you don't have to worry about your application being rejected because of that but I believe it will prolong the time it takes for a decision to be made which is frustrating.

Alternatively try calling, stating your case ID and see if you can do anything about it but I can't be sure they would be able to take those details over the phone.

Hi All,

My first post to this forum. My application timeline:

Date Applied/Docs sent: 23/03/16 [RM Special Delivery. Received by HO-24/03/2016. Fees taken - 29/03/2016]
Date Received Ack. Letter:
Date Biometrics booking letter arrived:
Date Biometrics Appointment Croydon:
Date Passport/Docs received from HO:
Result & VISA stamped:

Questions:
1. How long does the acknowledgement letter and Biometric enrollment letter usually take to arrive?
2. Does the issuance of the Biometric enrollment letter means that the application is generally in order (based on preliminary checks) and generally result in approval? I feel this is simply a part of the process.
3. What is the number to call to check the status and do i need a reference (that is in the acknowledgement letter?)?

Thanks and Regards

Update to my post below:

. Called the UKVI number
. Was told it can take up to 4 weeks for the Acknowledgement/ Biometrics enrollment letter to be sent out from the date of receipt of application
. Some teams in UKVI are not sending Acknowledgement letter any more.

Based on this, i have another couple of weeks wait for any communication from UKVI. Hopefully sooner.

Hi jkdlondon,

The advertised processing time i believe is 8 weeks and some applications may take longer. I have applied for my spouse couple of weeks ago and havent received any communication from UKVI. Looking at the timeline on your application, your application has progressed well.

If it helps, please bear in mind that Easter hols and school break always has an impact on the staff available to process applications.

My best wishes for speedy processing and successful outcome of your application :)

Applied for first leave flr m from inside uk very pleased with such a quick progress. Thanks to Almighty God! Thought the application will not be so straight forward as before I had a visa and was sponsored by ex spouse in a different category. Also applied with my child from first marriage which broke due to DV. Hope because we both got BRP today it means over and our visas are granted?!
I applied for my spouse visa on the same day as you. I've done my biometrics and sent extra information requested by the Home Office on the 29/03/2016. Just waiting for an answer from them. Have you got your visa?
