certificate problem, lost in transit

Post by tomambros » Fri Apr 08, 2016 2:13 pm

Dear,

I have been told by Ms.xxxx from Croydon Council that she has sent my certificate back to Home office because of mistake with my surname.

I did called today to find out when she will get my certificate and when I can attend a citizenship ceremony to receive my certificate.
She said that she contacted Home office and ask Ms.xxxxx from Home office said that they don't have it!
The certificate was send a month ago. That means certificate is lost!
I still don't have certificate and I don't know how to contact home office every time when I call they ask to send an email and when i send an email don't have any respond. The Home office customer service is just terrible.
When I have applied for a naturalization I did send a form, and all supporting documents, and my polish passport with correct surname.
Even my WRS (from 2004 Home Office) is with correct surname.

I really don't know how to contact Home office. Someone should do something !
The customer service is just terrible !!!

There is a fee for a naturalization of £ 1005 they took money straight away and now no even respond.
Really bad experience with that big national office as Home office...

What to do ?

Email Citizenship.support@gsi.gov.uk

You should get a response in a week or so. All the best.
