Well my employer has not specified the reason for it. I think my points are 45 this time but little doubtful still as during summer months applications are more.
But the +ve point is that they have 2500 CoS to be granted.
So lets hope for best...Good luck to you guys too

Hope you get it this time around. Best of luck
It'll be very tricky for me if it gets rejected because I'm already on notice period. My points are only 36

60 pointer got update yesterday, then 45 , we might get in some time or tomorrow...
Along with points, I am also worried about some minor procedural issue which would result in cos rejection

Hello Friends
Thanks for your wishes. I received it around 9.30 UK time but i think they got it yesterday and it was a matter of logging in and checking the same.
BTW Dont't worry, its nothing u and we can do rather just hoping for the best. My employer told me to wait till 11th + 5 days for CoS. So you still have time.
Wish you all a very good luck.

Sure .. I mailed my lawyer and she said she'll let me know the update as soon as she has something. So still in the waiting boat.

This is gonna be the longest wait of my life.. Last year my employer applied 4 times from June to Sept.. But I was unsuccessful due to the high application for RCoS (u guys might be aware of the whole fiasco). They have decided to re-apply this year in April with a postponed offer.. Guess you all can imagine what's on my mind now!!

Am confused , my employer sent this,
Thank you for your application for restricted CoS. Your application meets the minimum points score for the allocation of a restricted CoS. You can now assign your restricted CoS from SMS using the 'Granted applications - create and assign restricted CoS' function.
what does this mean? Is cos been granted or cos allocated for the company which I have to go through the allocation process? thanks

Hi karthiyegga,
this means your employer has been able to obtain an rcos on your behalf successfully. now your employer needs to assign this rcos to your name. does it make sense now?
Also, could you please tell me how much points did you have?

Thanks. oh, so again I need not go through the process with ukba. Its just my employer need to assign and then can apply for tier 2. Is it?
I had 40 points.
Regarding start date, can the employer change the start date while assigning cos to me?

Yes your employer will assign it to you and confirm you, post which you can go and apply for the visa. And I am afraid I do not know about the start date thing!

Dang...you ended up applying in the busiest four months during last year and then quit just before the changes in October cycle when they changed the points table. If you had tried for afifth time, I am sure CoS would have been approved
