Two different applications in one envelope?

Post by razian97 » Tue Apr 12, 2016 2:44 am

Respected Members,

I am on Tier1 G and My wife is on Tier1 Dependent visa.
My Wife visa validity will expire on the same day as Mine.
soon I have plan to apply for ILR on 10-year basis.

my Question .

Can we put our application forms for ILR and for FLRM together in one envelope or have to post both applications separate.?

Regards.

When do their current visa expires?

Can your 'friend' not apply in person and then post FLR(M) for wife?

Tell your friend to make an effort and at least read the forms to check if the address where these two forms are to be posted are the same or different!

As you say he is applying tomorrow, I am surprised he hasn't checked this simple thing as yet!

No ,He Cant apply in person.

which form He needs to fill, FLR-M OR FLR-FP?

on FLR-M ,it says
Complete this form only if you are applying for leave to remain in one of the following
categories:
• Family life as the partner of a person present and settled in the UK (2 year route)
• Family life as the partner of a person present and settled in the UK (5 year route)
• Family life as the partner of a person with refugee leave or a person with
humanitarian protection (5 year route)

and on FLR-FP ,it says
Complete this form only if you are applying for leave to remain in one of the
following categories:
• Family life as a partner (10 year route)
• Family life as a parent (5 year & 10 year routes)
• Private life in the UK (10 year route)

If your 'friend' meets the £18,600pa financial requirement, then it is form FLR(M) with Appendix FM. New 5 year route to ILR. Application will only be granted, if all requirements met, and if you 'friend' is granted ILR. If his ILR is refused, FLR(M) will also be refused.

Spouse needs English A1 test too.

I hope your 'friend's' tax and income declarations to HO/HMRC are all in order and correct. This is still checked even if applying for ILR based on 10 years long residence, even more so if he is on Tier 1 General and has/had self employment.

I have already asked when their visas expire but you seem to be ignoring the question.

His financial requirements of 18600 for FLRM and tax are up-to-date.
Can he send two different applications in one envelope or should post separately.?

Applications by post should be sent to the address which appears on the relevant application form. He can write a cover letter and provide copies of his passport etc and explain he is applying Set(LR).

Why is he not apply for ILR through Tier 1 G?

How long has the spouse had a dependent visa?
