NHS Surcharge refund procedure

Hi All.

I paid for NHS surcharge in July, 2015 for 3 years (Tier 2 General). Changed my job recently and paid NHS surcharge again and got my approval letter few days before. I have seen FOI replies from home office that you can get refund if you have paid twice for same time period. Searched a lot on internet, but not able to find anyway to apply for refund or contact details of relevant department to apply for refund.

Is there any1 at this forum who know the correct procedure ?

I thought that we don't have to do anything
And they will refund automatically

Any member who got refund ... Please share your experience. I have paid NHS surcharge twice for me and my dependent and it's a huge burden on pocket.

Hi,
I am in UK as Tier 2 dependent and my employer has agreed to provide me with sponsorship. so I went back to India with CoS and my Tier 2 visa application got rejected because by mistake Cos mentioned 'Unrestricted' category.

Because still I had my previous dependent visa, I travelled back with that and after explaining a lot the boarder agency did let me in.

Now, I got my NHS surcharge refund, but only INR 20000 instead of what I paid INR 60000.

Can anyone help me with this or has anybody got a full refund yet?
