British passport

Hi please could u help. If a british father wants to apply for his childs british passport what is the procedure? The child is in pakistan still with his mother but the father wishes to apply for british passport for the child. Can he apply for the childs passport from uk or does he have to go pak to apply for the passport for his child?

Were you British before the child was born?

Where was the child born?

How old is the child?

What is the immigration status of the mother?
