Hi all,

A friend of mine wants to apply for his wife spouse visa form Pakistan. he is British citizen. he has no kids and married to his wife about 3 years ago. his income is well above the £18600 threshold. his hours of work and rate is not fixed and get different rate for different site. he get payslip fortnightly.

I just want to know what his employment letter must state and how many payslips he need is it 6 months or whole year?

Confirmation of 6 months employment needed but how the income is calculated depends whether it is salaried or non-salaried employment. See section 5:
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... t_2015.pdf

Note that since your friend and his wife don't live together it is important to submit evidence that the marriage is subsisting.

Thanks CR001

I already read this link. According to this link it says you have to post your application within ten days of online submission while the email he received from visa4uk clearly says that you to post your application to Sheffield after enrolling the biometric not before the enrollment.

Now I don't know what to do?

Post by sshah20 » Fri Apr 22, 2016 6:19 pm

Hi all,

I am asking this question on behalf of my friend. He filled online application along with appendix 2. Is it mandatory to fill the sponsorship undertaking form SU07/12?. He is British citizen and applying for spouse visa for his wife.

Thanks in advance for help.

So what your friend has done? sent documents/application after biometric enrolment?
