Payslips don't have PAYE Reference number this is correct . P60 and P45 is most authentic document which shows your total earnings and tax paid during the job period . Salary Slips can be generated very easily on any transactios made by the company. and going in the court against without P-60 and P-45 is also not a good option becasue company can easily denied these payments have been made against contarctual work which he did for us .argus7 wrote:Its always on a P60 ( ETY) or P45 when you leave the employer.
Even it is very hard to argue with HMRC to update the employment record with only Payslips and Bank Statments they just sipmly refused.
The only option is first try to get or find P-60 or P-45 and made fresh application and if you don't have P-60- p-45 then send your payslips and Bank Statment to HMRC and ask them to give you a letter which shows atleast you did work for the company and earn that amount and paid tax. Normally they issued the letter even they refused to update the record its happend with one of my friend now he is making fresh application on the basis of that letter although HMRC refused him to update. But Later he might had good chance to stand in Appeal.
